We are pleased to see that Doctors and Nutritionists are reaching out more and more with the same information we have received and put into our health blog for years. At this time we would like to bring you a short article written by Dr. Russell L. Blaylock, M.D, and published in the Hallelujah Acres News Letter by George Malkmus.
Dr. Russell L. Blaylock, M.D, in the December 2013 issue of “The Blaylock Wellness Report” had an interesting article on pages 10-11 regarding the relationship of sugar to cancer growth.
Dr. Blaylock begins his article by saying:
“Cancer cells are unique in that they can use only one type of fuel for energy: sugar. Fructose, glucose, and dextrose all fall into that category.”
God gave us a means of protecting ourselves from cancer ever developing in our bodies – a healthy immune system. When the immune system is kept strong through good nutrition, cancer has a very difficult time developing.
Our immune system is our body’s first line of resistance to cancer and if strong can prevent it from ever happening.
But once it has developed, there are two things we can do nutritionally to help our condition:
Rebuild the immune system so that our body can better fight and win the battle; and
Stop feeding the cancer that now already exists.
Here’s what Dr. Blaylock suggests if you already have cancer:
“If you have cancer, you have to severely curtail your intake of simple carbohydrates as well as sugar. This includes breads, pastries, biscuits, cookies, and all other carbohydrates listed on the glycemic index above a value or 50.”
Jeannie here– Cancer can usually be avoided simply by taking a good, live vitamin that contains sun-ripened fruits and veggies, which keeps us well- free of colds, flu, and other disease. We’ve found that folks are very pleasantly surprised to learn that often eating well is actually more delicious than eating things that can and will hurt them.
