After all, doesn’t everyone know that it is unhealthy to gain weight and become fat? Doesn’t everyone know that Doctors tell us if we become obese that we risk heart attack, stroke, diabetes, cancer, and a great many other diseases that no one wants to get? So you believe that by my saying this, I’ve probably lost my last marble? PLEASE ALLOW ME TO EXPLAIN!
Undoubtedly we’ve all known someone who, even though a rather thin person, suffered a heart attack, got diabetes, cancer, or other disease quite suddenly without warning. Some even died without an opportunity to discover how to become well. Contrast that to the person who became fat and followed their Doctors advice to lose weight before getting a bad disease. As it turns out, fat is our friend.
It is a warning that we are becoming unhealthy and will get an illness in the future if we don’t change something in our life- most usually, but not always, our diet, because believe it or not… WE ARE WHAT WE EAT and it can also be important how we cook. After reading and following the Eat Healthy way of life, there are some who still have trouble, either in losing the last few pounds or in keeping it off once it’s gone. We’ve found this is usually due to a low metabolism, carbohydrate intolerance or not enough probiotics. Also it may be they are still consuming chemicals in some of their foods. The article on our current day wheat should answer some of your important questions. We believe everyone should follow the advice of their own Naturopath or Doctor, but we can tell you that adding GREEN TEA, BRAGG ACV, CEYLON CINNAMON, PROBIOTICS, some PROTEIN, lots of SATURATED FATS and keeping your carb count low, will help burn fat now and enable you to keep it off after it’s gone. I happen to be carbohydrate intolerant, and have found many others also have this problem, so the things I suggest here and on my EAT HEALTHY! page, are things I’ve done with great success and believe will most likely work for you too. If you choose to watch your carb intake (I’ve now had 3 doctors tell me not to count calories, but just carbs), remember that proteins and fats have none (or very few), and will satisfy your hunger for hours at a time! It is also a good idea to not take in more than 60 carb grams per day and less if the scales say you’re getting too many to lose another pound.

For those of you who just want, or perhaps really need, to lose a bit- or even a lot of unwanted weight, we have some yummy things to share with you here that works well for us and others. Of course you can eat solid food for each of your meals every day, but we really like to have thick, yummy, healthy shakes or smoothies for one or two meals- those super thick and very delicious protein filled shakes or smoothies will satisfy until you eat again and your fat will be melting away- a win, win all the way around! That really kills my hunger and the fact I’m keeping my carb count quite low, enables my body to burn fat and not store it!
You can now begin to look forward to the excess weight you will lose and the good health that will be yours while enjoying the best tasting diet that isn’t really a diet, but an exciting way of life!
